Giuseppe Arcimboldo, c. 1590–1591. Skokloster Castle, Sweden.

Emperor Rudolf II as Vertumnus, Roman god of the seasons, built entirely from fruit, vegetables and flowers: a pear for a nose, apples for cheeks, cherries for lips and wheat for eyebrows. The emperor loved it.

The print: Museum-quality giclée, printed on demand on heavyweight fine art paper with archival pigment inks for rich colour, deep blacks and lasting fidelity. Also available beautifully framed, or as a gallery-wrapped canvas ready to hang.
