Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette – Vincent van Gogh
£24.00
Vincent van Gogh, winter 1885–86. Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam.
A grinning skull, cigarette between its teeth. Van Gogh painted it as a student in Antwerp, most likely as a cheeky joke about his academy's stuffy skeleton-drawing lessons, though many read it as a memento mori.
The print: Museum-quality giclée, printed on demand on heavyweight fine art paper with archival pigment inks for rich colour, deep blacks and lasting fidelity. Also available beautifully framed, or as a gallery-wrapped canvas ready to hang.
