Vase with Flowers – Rachel Ruysch
£24.00
Rachel Ruysch, c. 1700. Mauritshuis, The Hague.
A striped tulip, iris, peony, morning glory and marigold that bloom in different seasons share one impossible bouquet, with a tiny damselfly among the leaves, a grasshopper on the ledge and decay already curling the leaves. Ruysch painted for over sixty years and became one of the best-paid artists of her time.
The print: Museum-quality giclée, printed on demand on heavyweight fine art paper with archival pigment inks for rich colour, deep blacks and lasting fidelity. Also available beautifully framed, or as a gallery-wrapped canvas ready to hang.
